EHV Jointer

We are seeking experienced Extra High Voltage (EHV) Jointers for a major infrastructure project involving underground land cable installations in Belgium (regions of Wallonia and Flanders) and France. The position involves international site work in collaboration with leading actors in the European energy transmission and manufacturing sectors. This assignment is expected to extend through the end of the year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cable jointing operations on EHV underground land cables (90kV to 400kV).

• Work on cable installation projects in accordance with safety, quality, and technical standards.

• Handle various types of cable extremities and materials (Alu, Cu, Cu Em, Milliken) including optical fiber integration and screen configurations.

• Ensure compliance with national safety and technical standards across multiple countries.

• Collaborate with multicultural on-site teams in both Wallonia and Flanders.

Required Certifications / Habilitations:

France:

• UTE C18-510 H1V or H2V

• PASS RTE

Belgium (Elia Network):

• IGSP (Substation) – BA4 or BA5

• IGST (Cable Line) – BA4 or BA5

Germany:

• Valid Safety Passport

Offshore Work (if applicable):

• Valid Survival Course certificate (please specify the type—e.g., BOSIET, GWO Sea Survival, or equivalent)

Language Requirements:

• English: Mandatory (professional working level)

• French: Strongly appreciated

• Flemish: Strongly appreciated

Technical Experience:

• Proven hands-on experience with:

  • 90kV

  • 132kV

  • 220kV

  • 400kV land cable systems

• Expertise in:

  • Optical fiber integration within cable systems

  • Working with different conductor types and screen configurations

Availability:

• Immediate start preferred

• Duration: Until end of year, with possibility of extension
