Role summary

Under the responsibility of the Offshore Wind Project Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:

• Provide specialized support in environmental impact assessment (EIA) and compliance obligations for offshore wind projects.

• Ensure adherence to international standards and regulations in offshore wind development.

• Interface with project teams, engineering teams, and external stakeholders to manage environmental and compliance requirements.

• Develop, review, and manage technical documentation related to environmental assessments, permits, and compliance reports.

• Conduct environmental impact studies and ensure alignment with project objectives and regulatory frameworks.

• Support the preparation and presentation of project updates, reports, and compliance documentation using PowerPoint and Word.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle.

• Collaborate with international teams to incorporate best practices and lessons learned from global offshore wind projects.

• Participate in project meetings, audits, and reviews to ensure environmental and compliance objectives are met.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on environmental and compliance matters.

• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the latest Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) procedures and company policies.

• Assist in the preparation and review of compliance-related documentation for regulatory submissions.

• Support offshore and on-site activities as required, including inspections, audits, and compliance verification.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role on an offshore wind project or related renewable energy sector.

• Proficiency in the following software/tools:

  • Microsoft PowerPoint

  • Microsoft Word

  • Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) tools

  • Environmental Information Database (ENVIID)

  • Compliance management systems

• Required certifications (non-exhaustive list):

  • Valid BOSIET (Approved OPITO)

  • Valid MFC (Maritime Firefighting Certificate)

• Desirable: Valid Seaman Book.

• International experience in offshore wind or renewable energy projects.

• Fluent in English (written and verbal).

• Strong understanding of environmental regulations, compliance obligations, and industry standards.

• Ability to work in a multicultural and multidisciplinary team environment.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to prioritize workload, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.

• Demonstrated ability to work within budget and time constraints.

Conditions

• Majority of the work is carried out at the company’s main office or project site.

• Offshore and on-site work may be required during project execution phases.

• Working hours will adhere to local regulations and company policies.
