Project Engineer Offshore Services H/F

Permanent position – AVENTA is looking for a motivated project manager offshore services to support the developpment of its new entity dedicated to on site operations and services for renewable energy project.

Role Definition

• Responsible for planning, execution and follow-up of offshore operation service contracts

• Ensure high quality, on time and on budget project execution by close follow-up of the project team and workscope requirements.

• Acquire a detailed knowledge of the contract and ability to mitigate commercial risks and variations

• Establish and maintain an excellent level of interaction for a long term relationship with the Client and close follow-up expectation

• Give priority to HSE requirements in compliance with Aventa procedures, HIRA outcomes, and applicable clients rules

• Ensure weekly monitoring of activities and on site works, progress status reporting including schedule and costs

• Apply management of change process, and continuous implementation of lessons learned

• Follow-up and sometimes contribute to the project technical documentation

• Follow-up of project logistics and supplies, subcontractor’s progress and performance

• Ensure project closure, client feeback, and record of internal lessons learned for continuous improvement of the Company

• Report status to its line manager

• Participate or organise all necessary meetings , internal or external

Expected results :

• Take ownership, manage efficiently the cable services contract

• Ensure safe and timely execution of the services

• Know the contract to defend commercial positions toward the Client

• Control internal costs to the allocated package

• Establish a solid relationship with key subcontractor to ensure performance and

• progress in accordance with each subcontracts

• Negotiate subcontracts or variations orders

• Perform subcontract follow-up according to company Project Execution Model

• Ensure high quality and efficient project team execution by being a real motivator for a

• satisfactory global performance

• Report clearly and on time to internal management and to Customer

• Be an active contributor in the project to satisfy customer

Position sizing :

• Transverse coordination of the project team

• Follow-up of subcontracts

• Frequent external interface with Client, Subcontractors or 3rd Party

• Frequent internal interface with project team, and internal project sponsors and ressources: engineering team, tender team, project management team.

Qualification

• A degree or equivalent experience in an engineering discipline or business administration

• Fluent in professional English

• First experience in project execution (min 3-5 years)

• Ability to prioritize, organize and communicate clearly

• Team player and motivator

• Good presentation, ability for dialogue and negotiation

• Experience from any of the following industries: energy infrastructure project, offshore wind, oil&gas, onshore, construction.
