Role summary

Aventa is seeking motivated, experienced, and mobile professionals to join major Offshore Wind projects in the near future as Quality Surveillance Inspectors.

Our objective is to build long-term collaborations with dedicated experts such as:

  • Core & Cable Manufacturing & Testing Inspector

  • Cable Accessories Inspector

  • CPS Inspector

The mission involves providing quality inspection services throughout the manufacturing of subsea power and fibre optic cables, as well as their associated accessories.

Surveillance activities will be conducted across several key production sites, including:

  • Power cable manufacturing facilities (core production, cable lay-up, and load-out)

  • Fibre optic cable production sites

  • Cable accessories manufacturing plants

Successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with technical specifications, industry standards, and project-specific requirements throughout the entire manufacturing process.

The main Responsibilities are :

  • Ensuring compliance with Employer’s Requirements and APQP4W procedures

  • Back office to provide support on required issues and manage and provide coverage for inspector look-ahead

  • Daily production monitoring during key manufacturing activities 

  • Daily and weekly reporting of all activities and records 

  • On-site schedule monitoring 

  • Witnessing and review of testing activities 

  • Reviewing test records and reports 

  • Witnessing and review of FAT activities 

  • Witnessing during 24/7 Load-Out activities and Post Load-Out testing of inter array cables 

  • Regular safety walks on production floor including safety walk report 

  • Review of inspection- and test plans 

  • Review of manufacturing procedures, repair procedures, non-conformance reports 

  • Regular reporting on quality, health & safety, security, and environmental issues / concerns

  • Review of Manufacturing As-Built Documentation / Manufacturing Record Books 

  • 12/7 attendance shall be maintained on-site throughout the planned manufacturing activities for inter array cable and subcomponents unless otherwise announced by Employer, with additional flexibility during periods of FATs and 0-series. Dedicated visits to accessory sites (to be announced by Employer) Work Environment

Requirements

  • Qualified and experienced personnel in subsea cable inspection

  • Relevant QA/QC certification, qualification and training

  • ISO 9001 certified

  • Relevant Electrical certification

  • BOSIET / GWO
