• Onshore / Offshore missions may be required (visa & work permit under agency responsibility)

1. Mission Objective

The position is part of the engineering activities for the JIANSZ-Io project. The selected engineer will act as Methods Lead Engineer, focusing on Rigid Jumper Installation operations.

2. Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in a similar Methods / Heavy Lift / Installation Engineering position

• Fluent in technical English (spoken and written)

• Familiar with engineering tools (to be confirmed)

• Ability to work autonomously while coordinating with other disciplines (Installation, HSE, Subcontracts, Procurement)

Mandatory certifications:

• Valid BOSIET + CA-EBS (OPITO certified)

• Valid OGUK Medical Fitness Certificate

3. Main Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate method engineering activities for rigid jumper installation

• Interface with project management, installation, and procurement teams

• Ensure compliance with technical and safety requirements

• Prepare method statements, calculations, and risk assessments

4. Skills Required

• Solid background in offshore installation engineering (rigid jumpers, subsea structures, etc.)

• Strong understanding of Oil & Gas subsea installation practices

• Excellent communication and coordination skills

• Autonomy, rigor, and capacity to manage priorities
