Site Project Manager (Germany SOL)

We are looking for a person to fill the role of Site Project Manager for the SOL. The German corridor project are a series of massive underground high-voltage direct current (HVDC) cable projects, such as the SuedOstLink, designed to transport electricity from wind farms in the North Sea to southern Germany.

Main duties include:

• Coordination of site superintendents of different project sections

• Act as a point of contact for the customer and third parties to oversee the activities related to the power cable and optical system that are required prior to installation and during installation.

• Act as an interface between the customer, contractors, and subcontractors for cable installation to plan activities, review the execution of construction work, and inspect infrastructure.

• Develop/Improve handover and other key Site Management Processes together with relevant stakeholders.

• Support on planning for critical resources/equipment for Site Management and verification of alignment with client plan.

• Development and Maintenance of Site Management action plan with critical activities impacting site activities (handover, defects closure, NCs)

• Leading the preparation of procedural instructions and other documentation required for the execution of on-site work in cooperation with relevant functions.

• Managing contractual requirements.

• Reporting to Project Director
