Site Quality Rep (Germany)

We are actively and currently looking for a SITE QUALITY REPRESENTATIVE - HDPE PREFABRICATION, who reporting to the Project Quality Manager (by discipline) Site Manager (day-to-day for administration and conduct matters), will have as main duty to act as client's Quality Rep at the subcontractor HDPE pipes prefabrication sites of the SuedOstLink land cable project, with focus on the HDPE welding activities. He/She is requested to visit project sites for QC inspection/monitoring activities.

Responsibilities/duties, include:

• Monitor progress of HDPE pipes prefabrication as per relevant ITP

• Witness all HDPE pipes welding activities on site, monitoring that all welding parameters are maintained as per procedure

• Witness any Non Destructive testing and repair activity, if applicable

• Verify calibration records, QC reports, HDPE welder qualifications, monitor quarantine areas - items or materials

• Reviews subcontractor welding records confirming accuracy

• Reports immediately any suspected discrepancy or nonconformity to site manager, project manager and project quality manager. Follow up on NC close out

• Report weekly on progress, records and defect rate of ongoing production

• Monitor all work areas, NDT, receipt/storage areas and fabrication activities to verify that quality requirements are implemented in accordance with Approved ITP, procedures and Drawings.

• Available for QC inspection activities at project sites as directed by the Project Quality Manager

• Liase with the Client representatives and Subcontractor personnel on quality related matters and report areas of concern or any deviation

Main working sites are between Hof/Bavaria and Essenbach/Bavaria. On the Route, main locations are Hof, Bayreuth, Weiden, Regensburg, Landshut, also Nuremberg is not far from the route
