Role summary

Under the responsibility of the Submarine cable discipline lead, your main responsibilities will be to:

• Prepare and issue Cable EPCI tendering documentation.

• Respond to clarification requests asked by the Cable EPCI Bidders during the tendering process.

• Evaluate the Proposals received by the Client from technical and commercial point of the EPCI Contractor; and

• Provide support to the Client during negotiations of the EPCI supply contract (and optionally O&M contract) with the successful Bidder.

• Manage the contract during subsequent project phases, including detailed design review, installation, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• MSc or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, with relevant work experience in submarine cable projects.

• Strong understanding of EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) processes.

• Proficiency in tender documentation preparation and contract management.

• Excellent communication skills to respond to clarification requests and evaluate proposals.

• Experience in negotiating supply contracts.

• Fluent English

• Ability to work in a multi-disciplined project team.

• Ability to prioritise own workload, manage time accordingly and inform team members where constraints will affect a project in terms of programme or budget.

• Demonstrable ability to work within time/budget constraints.

• Ability in Vendor and 3rd Party interface.

• Ability in working in multicultural group.

Conditions

• Majority of the work is carried out in the regional main office site – Paris

• Working hours according to local regulation and Company's policy
