About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in cable manufacturing to join our dynamic team. This role involves performing dynamic cable analysis and working collaboratively to enhance the design, production, and testing of high-performance cables for industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct dynamic cable analysis to optimize design and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in product design, development, and testing.
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and material issues in cable manufacturing processes.
Develop and improve manufacturing methodologies to ensure high-quality standards.
Perform mechanical simulations and analysis to validate product designs.
Ensure compliance with international standards and company specifications.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and client use.
Support the implementation of sustainable and cost-effective production practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in cable manufacturing, with exposure to dynamic cable analysis.
Proficiency in engineering software for simulations and analysis (e.g., Orcaflex, deeplines, ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar).
Knowledge of materials engineering and mechanical properties relevant to cable design.
Familiarity with international standards related to cables (e.g., IEC, IEEE, or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Spoken Greek is preferred but not mandatory; English proficiency is required.
