We are actively looking to hire a Project Installation Engineer for offshore projects in the Europe area, with experience in method statements/Installation procedures to cover the following:
Act as a technical interface with the client for document preparation.
Act as technical point of contact for scopes of work within the project.
Report to Installation Department outcome of meetings and technical discussions.
Critically evaluate technical and contractual information.
Analyse and understand customer technical challenges.
Development of technical design solutions against client scope of work.
Fully grasp all engineering challenges and effectively utilize engineering tools and techniques to overcome challenges as they occur.
Develop technical procedures associated with installing cables in the offshore marine environment.
Ensure that the engineering technical solution provision is best in class and effective with respect to cost, quality, and safety.
Engineering activities include preparation of method statements for the following activities:
Cable burial risk assessment (CBRA).
Route Engineering.
Burial assessment study (BAS).
Survey works.
Cable installation works.
Pre-sweeping/dredging works.
Mattress installation works.
Rock placement (rock dumping).
Trenching works.
Cable pull-in at landfall and at offshore substations.
QUALIFICATIONS
AutoCAD software experience is mandatory.
English is mandatory.
Advantage to having a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering Technology or other Engineering-related subjects.
Good word processing skills.
GIS software experience is a plus.
