Senior/Lead Method Engineer

Role summary

• Act as a technical interface with the client for document preparation

• Act as technical point of contact for scopes of work within the project

• Report to Installation Department outcome of meetings and technical discussions

• Critically evaluates technical and contractual information

• Analyses and understands customer technical challenges

• Development of technical design solutions against client scope of work.

• Fully grasps all engineering challenges and effectively utilizes engineering tools and techniques to overcome challenges as they occur

• Develops technical procedures associated with installing pipelines in the offshore marine environment

• Ensures that the engineering technical solution provision is best in class and effective with respect to cost, quality, and Safety

Qualifications

• MSc BSc in mechanical engineering/hydrodynamics, with relevant work experience in the oil and gas industry or equivalent, with experiences of cable lay systems analysis.

• Proficiency in relevant software tools for cable lay analysis.

• Fluent English.

• Undertake responsibility for production of deliverables, which may include engineering support to Drafting Office, design calculations, specifications, procedures, analyses, progress reports, bid evaluations, study reports, and various 3rd-party submissions.

• Experience in working in a multi-disciplined system engineering team.

• Demonstrable ability to work within time/budget constraints.

• Ability in Vendor and 3rd Party interface.

• Ability in working in multicultural groups.

Conditions

• Majority of the work is carried out in the regional main office site – Jakarta.

• Offshore / Off-site location during project Execution phase as required.

• Working hours according to local regulation and Company's policy.
